Hello, I’m Yolanda!

I’m originally from Alabama, so I know a thing or two about Southern hospitality. Soon after meeting with me, I hope you’ll feel like you’ve made a friend and someone you can entrust with your furry and feathery friends. When you leave them with me, you can rest easy knowing they’ll be treated with the love and care they deserve.

Here’s a little more about my background: I left home at the young age of 17 to join the Air Force and proudly served my country for 20 years. But when it came time to settle down, I knew that Las Vegas was the place for me. I’ve been a resident here for the past 20 years, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

During my time in the Air Force, I worked in a job similar to OSHA and EPA, focusing on Environmental Management and Occupational Safety and Health. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management and an associate’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, which have come in handy in my post-military life.

Now, I’m embarking on a new adventure! I’m currently pursuing certifications in pet sitting and first aid for pets, and I couldn’t be more excited. I can’t wait to share my newfound knowledge and love for animals with others.

Retirement has been such a blessing. It’s given me the freedom to pursue my passions, spend time with loved ones, and appreciate the beauty of everyday life. So, whether you need a pet sitter or just a friendly face to chat with, I’m here for you!

Here are some more fun facts about me:

  • This is actually my 3rd business venture. I’m always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow!
  • Before starting my own business, I worked as an inspector in the military.  Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence are values that I bring to everything I do.
  • I used to live in Japan! I love experiencing different cultures and learning new things.
  • I’ve been lucky enough to travel to some amazing places, including Australia, Guam, St. Croix, St. Maarten, Bahamas, Japan and Hawaii. Each trip has been a unique adventure and an opportunity to create lifelong memories.
  • Believe it or not, I’ve never had a Facebook account! Instead, you can find me on professional networks like LinkedIn and Alignable, as well as on the fun and creative platform of TikTok.
  • I used to run a booth at the Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet in Las Vegas, selling all kinds of products. It was a great way to connect with the community and share my passion for entrepreneurship.
